02/05/2018: New paper with my Postdoc Antoine Riols on dust settling in protoplanetary discs. We show how dust settling is affected by non-ideal MHD effects. Comparison with preliminary observation data show excellent agreement, more is coming!

05/01/2018: New paper with my PhD student Nicolas Scepi on dwarf novae accepted. Accretion in quiescence is difficult with MRI only!

20/07/2017: My ANR project on dust dynamics is accepted. Antoine Riols will start working with me on this topic in september 2017.

11/05/2017: My review paper on hydro instabilities with S. Fromang in memory of Jean-Paul Zahn is available on ADS.

5/02/2017: Second paper with my PhD student Will Bethune on global simulations of protoplanetary discs. We found a lot of exiting dynamical behaviour with possible observational counterparts when all of the non-ideal MHD effects are included. Stay tuned!

I am a member of the CNRS Research staff in the high energy phenomena group (SHERPAS) of the Institute of Planetology and Astrophysics of Grenoble (IPAG). My research interest includes hydrodynamic and MHD turbulence in accretion discs, disc winds, dynamo theory and planet formation. Former group

I am a former member of the Astrophysical Fluid Dynamics group at DAMTP where I was employed for three years (2007-2010) as a postdoctoral research associate.
