Conference "EPoS 2012 The Early Phase of Star Formation"

EPoS The Early Phase of Star Formation is a series of conferences for a field where still no paradigm has been established and consequently the opposing views require intense communication. EPoS meetings devote substantial time to discussions after the presentations, at the end of each day, in the poster sessions, and in focus groups.

The meeting in 2012 addresses the entire stellar mass range with the individual topics : triggered star formation, clustered star formation, cores, chemistry, collapse, fragmentation, jets, competitive accretion, giant molecular clouds, binarity, magnetic fields, initial mass function, turbulence, X-rays, and early phases of disks.

All four EPoS conferences have been organized by at least one IPAG member.
